We're all Volunteers!
What are Docents?
Docents are volunteers who greet visitors to the 1894 one-room Wooster School and 1910 Brown-McKay Farmhouse. They are people of all ages and backgrounds who share certain traits. Docents enjoy sharing memories and working with children; they believe that “living” history is better than reading about it; and they believe field trips are an important part of every child’s education.
If you fit this description, please consider becoming a BHPA docent and play a direct role in keeping our history alive. Training is provided and you can volunteer as many or as few hours as you like.
